On the second day of the trip, you’ll do a tour of Kathmandu Valley to explore the heritage sites of here. There are numerous places in the valley to visit but you’ll visit only the selective ones. As you have to do preparation for the expedition also. So you will start the day by visiting the UNESCO World heritage sites like Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. All of the sites are equally important for the cultural and art displays of Nepal.
After the cultural sightseeing, you will find a way to prepare for the expedition as you will leave Kathmandu the next morning. You might need to buy or rent climbing and trekking essentials for the long expedition. So you’ll reach out to such places for arranging things for your journey. Then doing all of the purchases and arrangements, you’ll retrace the hotel’s way for night rest. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Note: It is not possible to visit all world heritage sites in Kathmandu within a day. So you can choose at least 3-4 places for day sightseeing.

Now you will hit the highway for the first time that leads you out of the Kathmandu Valley. Through the serpentine road of Prithivi Highway, you will enjoy the drive of 5 hours. The views from the windows will surely excite you, there is no doubt about that. Many scenic things come along on the journey to Pokhara like wide and big green hills, bluish rivers, and traditional houses of the locals. Thoroughly enjoying the drive time, you’ll arrive at the finest tourist place of Nepal, Pokhara.
The place is also known as the city of lakes and a city with great mountain views. You will explore the city as much as you can before night falls. The place is quite bright to explore at night also. A stroll around the lakeside can be a healing walk for you. Once you are done with the exploration, you’ll head for the delicious dinner before bedtime. Overnight in Pokhara.

You have to leave Pokhara until next time to move forward in the journey. The drive of one and half hours will take you to the starting point of the trek, Naya Pul. From here, you will approach Tikhedhunga through the way that is cornered by Modi Khola River. It will be a walk to enjoy as you go deeper into the greenery for the first time in this trip. Along the way, you will reach Birethanti where you’ll get your trekking and climbing permits checked. From there, you’ll continue your trek until you arrive at Tikhedhunga. Overnight in the tea house of Tikhedhunga.

On this day, you’ll come across the well known Ghorepani village, a traditional Gurung village with mountain views. But to reach there, you have to walk all the way from Tikhedhunga. The trail is steep but the scenery will not let you get tired. As you leave Tikhedhunga, you have to trek an uphill climb that takes you to Ulleri village. You will keep marching on and on through the scenic landscapes of Banthanti. Don’t forget to watch the awe-inspiring glimpses of Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna. After the trek of 5 to 6 hours, you’ll be at Ghorepani where your bed will be waiting to make you rest.

Today, you’ll start the day with an early morning hike to Poon Hill(3,210m), probably the best place to see the sunrise and mountain panorama in Nepal. The morning hike will bestow the unbelievable images of many Annapurna region mountains. Talking about the sunrise from here, it can take the breath away for a while. Then, you’ll trace back to your hotel to get going after breakfast.
The trek will start with an ascent as usual to find your way to Deaurali La. From there, the walk will be through the deep forest of Rhododendron until Banthanti. You may come across some of the wild animals of the woods. Keeping all of the things behind, you’ll reach Tadapani Village which is another important village in the region. Of course, you can enjoy the mountains through your eyes from here also. Overnight in Tadapani’s teahouse.

Now you will start another beautiful trekking day to reach Chhomrong by nightfall. It will not take that much also, with several ascents and descents of 5 to 6 hours, you’ll reach the destination. In the first part, you’ll move further Siprong through another forested trail. Then crossing several suspension bridges, you’ll reach Gurjung where you’ll stop for lunch and rest. Once your stomach is refueled, you’ll move towards Chhomrong, yet another Gurung village. Beautiful overnight at Chhomrong.

Taking your breakfast, you’ll leave Chhomrong behind, you’ll proceed towards Bamboo. As its name suggests, Bamboo is a place with a forest of Bamboo.
Soon after leaving Chhomrong, you’ll start to get into the deep forest of Rhododendron, Oak, and Bamboo. The trek is quite a healing one as you will get to trek amid greenery after so long. Moving through the forest, you’ll see some monkeys jumping around. The trek will come to an end after reaching Bamboo. Awesome overnight in Bamboo’s peaceful surroundings.

From Bamboo, you’ll drive yourself through a steep trail to find the way to Deurali. The trail today is steep and rocky as well. You’ll trek on the trail that has several uphills and downhills. Woods will come once in a while along the way to keep you moving. You’ll pass via well-heard stops of Annapurna Base Camp like Doban, Himalaya. It will be a much demanding trekking day than the earlier ones. Following the trek of 5 to 6 hours, you’ll find yourself at Deurali where you will call it a day.

Today is one of the important days of Singu Chuli Peak Climbing. As you are crossing the elevation of 4000m for the first time on this whole trip. Plus, you’ll trek to everyone’s favorite Annapurna Base Camp(4,130m). You’ll start this important day with a quick breakfast at Deaurali. Then you’ll head upwards through a steep trail. On this day, you’ll gain an altitude of 4,130m straight from 3,230m which can be tough and exciting at the same time.
Before reaching ABC, you’ll trek through the base camp of Iconic Mt Machhapuchhre which lies in the Annapurna Sanctuary. You’ll see loads of mountains today, the thing is pretty sure if clouds are not around. After you reach ABC, you’ll spend an appealing evening and night at the lapse of Mt Annapurna.

On this day, you’ll not proceed any higher than Annapurna Base Camp. The day is to help you acclimate to the high altitude and get enough body rest before the Singu Chuli Peak Climbing. You’ll explore and ramble around the busiest Annapurna Base Camp. It is a great place to spend a day or so. Don’t forget to wake up early to experience the fabulous sunrise from Annapurna Base Camp. There will be another overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.

Now it is time to leave Annapurna Base Camp and move more closer to the Singu Chuli Peak. Without a doubt, the stretch is going to be a difficult one. As you find Annapurna Base Camp behind, you’ll already be over the glacier ways to Tent Peak Base Camp. You’ll trek slowly with pauses every now and then.
This way, you’ll overcome the strenuous trail to reach the base camp before nightfall. As there are no tea houses or houses at the base camp, the tented camp will be the ultimate choice. The team will install the tent for all of the members of the Singu Chuli Expedition. Overnight in the base camp of Tent Peak.

Now you’ll move from base camp to high camp of the Tent peak which lies quite close to Singu Chuli Peak. This will be another hard day where you’ll be ascending gradually for 6 hours. The trail will also get tougher, rough, and snowy at some part. Overnight at High Camp under the tented camp.

You’ll spend a full day at Tent peak High Camp to acclimate to the new altitudes. It is extremely important to have two or so acclimatization days in a strenuous climb. This will help in avoiding the mountain sickness and also boosting some energy for the summit day.

The process of ascending upwards will continue on this day also. It will be an ascent of 6 hours through a snowy and iced trail which will take you to the Singu Chuli Camp I. If snow is densely dotted along the trail, you have to bring out your crampons. The more closer you are to Singu Chuli, the tougher will be the trek. Overnight at Camp I in a tented camp.

Now you are close to reaching an elevation of 5,500m, so take it slow. Rushing will only initiate altitude sickness or nothing. It will be another ascending day through the alike snowy trail. After you overcome the climb, you and your team will start to set up tents for night rest.

And, the most important day of Singu Chuli Peak Climbing will come by when you have to do a final stretch to reach the top of the peak. The day is an equally exciting and difficult one. This is where you have to display all of the skills and experiences you are made of.
The ascent of the peak will start early in the morning. You’ll be assisted by a group of experienced guides throughout every step of the day. The technical section which lies just before the summit point is the most difficult. It’s like very difficult to pass through this section without the usage of ropes, axes, and other climbing gear.
With constant guidance from the guides, you’ll be successful to set your feet upon the summit of Singu Chuli Peak(6,501m). What a feeling will it be! You’ll live the moment to the fullest by enjoying all of the visions from the top. The wide panorama will surely pause you for a moment. Following, you’ll make a descent back to the Singu Chuli Camp II for the night.

As your goal of the expedition is already achieved, now you’ll be on the way back home. The trek will be easy to do as no more ascents are required anymore. But don’t forget to watch your step, the trail can be slippery and sliding. Descend of 6 to 7 hours will take you back to Tent Peak Base Camp. Overnight in Tent Peak Base Camp.

The way back home will continue today straight from Tent Peak Base Camp to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. You’ll enjoy the descending trail more than before when you’ll see the mountains in the backdrop. You’ll also bid farewell to Annapurna Base Camp until next time today. Overnight stay at Machhapuchhre Base Camp.

Now it will be the time to leave the scenic Machhapuchhre Base Camp as well. You will retrace your way back to Sinuwa. You’ll pass via Deurali, Himalaya, Dobhan, Bamboo by re-exploring the region. Overnight in Sinuwa.

As you are heading back home, you’ll leave Sinuwa to reach Jhinu Danda today. It will be a convenient trek through Choomrong village and then the river. However, to reach Jhinu Danda, you will need to do an uphill climb. Upon your arrival in Jhinu Danda, you can take a rest and relax in the hot spring there.

You’ll leave Jhinu Danda to start another easy trekking day. It will be a trek of 4 hours to reach Pothana, a beautiful green terraced village. Along the way, you’ll pass several other iconic villages like Landruk and Himal Pani. The trek will end upon your entrance to Pothana.
(Note: You can also opt for a much shorter Singu Chuli Peak Climbing itinerary. There are other itineraries also complete within around 18 to 21 days. This particular itinerary is a long one for those who do not like to rush way back home.)

Today, you will wake up to start yet another easy trekking day which lasts barely 3 hours. You’ll move slowly towards Dhampus Phedi enjoying everything that comes around. The villages, people, landscapes, terraced fields will make your day an excellent trekking day. As you will reach Dhampus Phedi, you will hop on a bus to reach Pokhara. It will take around 40 minutes to reach Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.

After spending a worthy evening and night in Pokhara, you’ll now leave for Kathmandu. The bus will ride the same serpentine and scenic highway. After 5 hours of drive hours, you’ll reach the busy streets of Kathmandu again. You’ll be transported to your hotel for an evening stroll and night rest in Kathmandu.

Then the day will come when you’ll bid farewell to Nepal and the team that guided on your Singu Chuli peak climbing. You’ll get a timely airport drop before your departure time. And it will be the end of a long journey. Farewell!
