Get Transfer to Kathmandu International Airport

You will be picked up from the hotel by one of our representatives early in the morning. You will be transported to the domestic terminal of international airport.

We will board the helicopter for an exhilarating Langtang Helicopter Tour after meeting all airport requirements. We will be flying from Kathmandu. With ground time at Kyanjin Monastery, the tour will last around one and a half hours.

Fly to Langtang

One will get to take in the aerial view of the distinctive topography that divides many villages along the road. As we leave the city behind and ascend, the Himalayan Mountain range becomes immediately visible.

The World’s Tallest Shiva Statue in Sanga is seen from the helicopter as we travel north from the city. You may learn more about Nepal’s topography and the curvy roads that gracefully encircle the hills by looking below. The Langtang National Park, which extends over a 1,710 sq. mile including Nuwakot, Rasuwa, and Sindhupalchok districts of the central Himalayan region, are the next stop on our journey.  We arrive to Kyanjin Valley, home to the renowned Kyanjin Gompa, after about 45 minutes.

Explore Langtang

You will be met by vibrant Buddhist prayer flags and a chilly mountain breeze as soon as you land at Kyanjin Valley. The Langtang mountain range can be seen encircling the valley. We stroll around the village before moving on to the Kyanjin Gompa (Monastery). Generally speaking, stone and wood make up the gompa. There is a serene atmosphere given off by the gompa’s white accent. The monastery is thought to be around six centuries old by the locals. There are 13 clay statues and images of Lord Buddha inside the gompa. The forefathers of the Dhomares, “the residents of the land of red rocks,” are shown in the statues. After enjoying a delicious breakfast and spending around 30 minutes on the ground, we board the helicopter and get ready for the return journey.

Fly back to Kathmandu

The pilots fly the helicopter back to Kathmandu as we assess the successful excursion to the Kyanjin Gompa. We arrive at the domestic terminal of Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport after 25 minutes.

Finally, it’s time for us to say goodbye. However, a review book will be given to you first. It only takes 2 minutes to share your experience, but it has a huge impact on how we can improve our services in the future.
