Once you arrive at the Kolkata airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal is also called the ‘City of Joy’ and is known for its museums, libraries, night clubs, entertainment options, and places of religious interest. Once reached, check-in at the hotel and spend a comfortable night.

 

After breakfast, proceed for the Kolkata sightseeing tour. Visit the top tourist attractions in the city including Birla Planetarium and Victoria Memorial. Drive past the famous Howrah Bridge, the Fort Williams, the Secretariat Building, and the Old Court House Street. After the tour, come back to the hotel for a restful sleep.

 

The next leg of your trip starts today. After breakfast, check out and travel from Kolkata to Guwahati by flight. Once arrived, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will check-in and rest. As the sun goes down, visit Sualkuchi Village (1 hour from Guwahati). Assam produces three unique varieties of Silk out of which the Golden Muga Silk grows here. You can explore the village and then, get back to Guwahati and spend a comfortable night.

 

Wake up and savor a healthy breakfast. Check out and proceed to explore the wildlife of North East India at Kaziranga National Park. It is known worldwide for its one-horned rhinoceros and natural beauty. Once reached, you can check-in at the wildlife resort and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

 

Start the day early and go for a fun elephant safari. Come back to the resort for breakfast. Later in the afternoon, go for more exploring by jeep safari. After an exciting day, retire for the night at a wildlife resort in Kaziranga.

 

On day 6 of your Heritage of North East & Orissa tour package, have breakfast and say goodbye to Kaziranga. From here, move towards Jorhat (2.5 hours). Enjoy the scenic drive and witness the breathtaking landscapes en route. Once arrived, check-in at the Heritage Tea Bungalow and rest. In the evening, explore the city including monuments, temples, palaces, and more. Come back to the tea bungalow for an overnight stay.

 

Start the day with a visit to the Tea Estate and witness the processing of Tea. In the afternoon, check out and proceed towards the airport to catch a flight to Kolkata. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Kolkata.

 

Today, after breakfast, check out and depart Kolkata airport to Bhubaneswar by flight. The capital city of Orissa, Bhubaneswar is known for its temples and rich culture. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will check-in and rest. In the afternoon, explore the temples in the city. Get back to the hotel and spend a comfortable night.

 

Post breakfast, get ready for full-day excursions to Lalitgiri, Ratnagiri, and Udayagiri. Visit the famous temples and Buddhist monasteries. After the tour ends, return to the hotel and hop onto the bed for a restful sleep.

 

Savor breakfast, check out, and travel from Bhubaneswar to Puri (1.5 hours). On arrival, complete the check-in formalities and rest for a while. In the afternoon, proceed to explore Puri’s top attractions like Jagannath Temple, Gundicha Mandir, and artisan’s village. After a fun-filled day, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Wake up and enjoy breakfast. On day 11 of your Heritage of North East and Orissa tour, your day will be reserved for extrusion to Konark. Visit Sun Temple, known for its unique architecture. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can see three images of Sun God in three dimensions to catch the sun rays at dawn, noon, and sunset. Afterward, visit Fisher Man’s Village. Come back to Puri hotel and sleep overnight.

 

Today, the entire day is at leisure. After breakfast, you can relax at the hotel or go out to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay in Puri.
