You will need to board your Volvo bus around 8 PM from the Mandi House to Shimla for an overnight journey. You will reach Shimla the next morning. Shimla is the capital town of Himachal Pradesh, brimming with colonial architecture, scenic viewpoints, shopping places, etc.

If your trip would be in winters, chances are you might not get an entry to visit Rohtang Pass. On your way towards this scenic mountain pass, make sure you stop at Rahala Fall, Kothi, Marhi.
