After arrival at the Delhi Airport, you will be received by IHPL Representative, who’ll arrange transfer to the Hotel. After straightening your backs for a while, head to a city tour of Delhi covering major tourist attractions like Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, Humayun’s Tomb and Red Fort.

In the afternoon, visit the Qutub Minar and Chhatrapur Temple. Now come back to Hotel for an overnight Stay.

 

In the morning wake up early, transfer to the airport to board flight to Leh. On arrival, check-in at one of our listed hotels and enjoy the breakfast served by them. Rest of the day is free to relax and for high altitude acclimatization. Later in the evening you may take a leisurely walk to Leh market and shop for pearls and coral jewelry. Spend night at the hotel in Leh.

 

Early in the morning leave hotel for an excursion to Stok village. Walk through the fields of barley to reach the village that houses Stok Palace and a private museum within the palace. The Stok museum showcases great collection world renowned Thankha paintings. Another interesting section in the museum is the section, displaying the antique robes and royal jewelry featuring red coral and turquoise gems in its design. Then pay a visit to the Stok Gompa, belonging to the yellow-hat sect of Buddhism. In the afternoon visit the magnificent Leh Palace. Also visit the Sankar Gompa, situated 2 Kms away from the market. Evening is reserved to visit the Tibetan Refugee camp, an important center of study of Tibetan literature, history and Buddhist philosophy. Retire for the night at the hotel.

 

Next morning after breakfast, drive for a full day excursion to Alchi. En-route, visit the Likir and Lamayuru Gompa. The Lamayur Gompa is situated in Lamayuru village, visited by a large number of tourists for its lunar landscape. The monastery has a small temple dedicated to Avalokiteshwara. After the visit resume your drive to Alchi- Ladakh’s most loved monastery of Ladakh. It is the only monastery built on the flat ground in Ladakh. Next morning after breakfast, drive straight to Leh. Also visit Basgo Castle that is situated on the hill of clay. Later on resume your drive to Leh. On arrival check-in at one our listed hotels. Rest and relax for the night in the hotel.

 

Early in the morning start for a full day excursion to the Tsomoriri Lake. En-route, visit the Sumdah Village. After visiting the village, drive for another 55 kms to visit Tsomoriri lake that is breeding ground for varied species of birds. It is one of the most breathtaking fresh water lakes in Ladakh. Enjoy an overnight stay in tents.

 

Post breakfast, head forward to visit Tso-moriri village to view the beauty its Gompa and houses the view of which is mesmerizing also visit the barley fields at Korzok that are amongst the highest cultivation in the world. The Gompa set on top of the village belongs to the Gelugpa sect, it is about 360 years old and has 35 resident monks. In the afternoon take a walk in the area around the lake. Relish the delicious dinner and overnight in tents.

 

In the morning start for Mahe village. The village exhibits the beautiful scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon to be remembered for a lifetime. Later in the day, pay a visit to Puga valley which is famous for Butan gas. Resume your drive to Tsokar via Polokongka pass. En-route visit Tsokar lake and Thugke Gompa. Continue driving towards to Leh via Tanglangla pass which is the second highest motorable pass in the world. Overnight at a hotel in Leh.

 

Next morning after breakfast leave for Sarchu. The place is located 222Kms away from Leh. It is a major halt point that provides for tented accommodation on the Leh-Manali highway. Post breakfast, drive to Manali. It is a small village situated in the heart of Lahaul valley. Upon reaching Manali check-in at one of our enlisted hotels. Rest and relax for a while. After lunch, step out for visiting the major tourist attractions like Hadimba Temple, Tibetan Monasteries, Manu Temple and Solang Valley. Also enjoy Vashist springs for a hot sulphur spring bath. In the evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Wake up early on the 11th day of the tour, and move out for a full day excursion to Rohtang Pass. The place provides one with breathtaking vistas of the Himalayan mountain range. After taking some rest set off to visit the ancient temples of Jawalamukhi, Brijeshwari and Chamunda. Later in the day visit the war memorial and the Kangra Art Museum. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and comfortable overnight stay.

 

The day begins with a visit to Namgayal and Macleodganj monastery. After breakfast, pay a visit to the Church of St. John in the Wilderness and the Kotwali bazaar. During the evening trek through the landscapes of Dharamshala to enjoy the views of snowy peaks, deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills.
